Surfing vs Life

I have long compared life to surfing. When the surfers finds themselves in the break zone, they know they cannot stop the wave, but they can rise upon it, have fun, and enjoy the present moment. The wave will end, and another will follow.

The surfer will adapt to the intensity and size of the ever-changing waves, and it will become easier. Each wave is a challenge in itself, and we must make the most of it.
Sometimes, the wave may pull the surfer into a whirlpool, but they will always rise to the surface and take the next one with more determination and confidence.
Life is unpredictable, just like the wave. It's about learning to adapt to changes and challenges instead of resisting and wanting to control everything. There's nothing more to do. Nothing lasts forever.
Instead of trying to cling on and persist, it's better to resign; after all, the wave will eventually break and end.

When the wave comes or when a challenge arises, we may try to fight it, but it will be in vain. Ignoring it might be risky, as it leaves things to chance, so the alternative is to learn how to surf.
It's possible to surf any wave, if we are ready to take risks and we stops worrying about things beyond our control.
