Long ago, the eagle and the condor lived in perfect harmony. At that time, the world was one. Over time, society split into two groups with very different ideologies, one led by the eagle, the other by the condor.

The eagle flew over the North, inspiring his people to develop their intellectual knowledge, highly influenced by science, while the condor remained in the South, preaching intuition and harmony with the environment. It was said that one day, they would fly together again, but not for another 500 years. In the meantime, they would each have their own experiences, after which they would learn essential lessons.

The eagle had become so powerful in its evolution that it had almost come to destroy the condor's existence. What the eagle didn't know was that he needed the condor to rise even higher. The sharing of knowledge between the two would make the awakening of the earth possible, and afterwards create the Pachacuti. Pacha for the earth, cuti for right side up! It would be a new time.

It was written in the prophecy that we would experience extreme instability. It would feel like the apocalypse, with winds, fires, drought, hurricanes and social injustice. During these often chaotic changes, something magical would happen: mutual aid would appear as a tsunami of love and kindness. The world would come back into harmony.

Neither the eagle nor the condor can survive alone. The alchemy of a mutual collaboration allows them to emerge into a new consciousness. The eagle must share its scientific and social achievements, while the condor must teach its profound wisdom emanating from the heart. The balance between the two will allow us to achieve great things, after all, with the greatest respect for all.

The Incas disappeared into the clouds when the Spanish invaded South America in the 1500s, and were said to return when the glaciers began to melt, to share their teachings with the Western world. When they reappeared, they would bring sacred teachings that have been preserved for centuries.

There are many versions of the Eagle and Condor prophecy, but the one shared by my friend Claire and her husband José is simply divine and positive, because lately people have seen the eagle and the condor flying together in the blue sky...
