One day while cleaning up at home, I came across a handwritten text of mine that I shared in my book "A Life to Heal."

Some time ago, I read a book where life was compared to a journey on a train. It was an interesting and inspiring reading.

Life is like a journey on a train: we get on and off, there may be accidents, at some stops there may be pleasant surprises, and at others, deep sadness may be experienced.

From the moment of our birth, we board a train, naively believing that the people in the carriage will remain with us throughout our journey on earth: our parents. Unfortunately, the truth is quite different... One day, they will alight at a station, bringing their love, affection, friendship, and companionship. We will be deprived of their presence.

There will be different people who will eventually board the train and be very important to us: our brothers, our sisters, our friends, and all the wonderful people we will love. For some, this journey will be a short ride, and for others, it will be the adventure of a lifetime. Some will only find sadness throughout this escapade. Various people will always be present and ready to help those who need it most.

Many will leave a lasting nostalgia when they depart the train... Others will show up and immediately disembark; we will only have time to cross there paths. It surprises us when some passengers we love choose to sit in another carriage. They leave the train for a while, leaving us alone.

Naturally, nothing can stop us from searching for them everywhere on the train. Sometimes, unfortunately, we won't be able to sit next to them anymore because the seat is already taken. That's okay, the adventure is planned like this: full of challenges, dreams, hopes, farewells... with no return!

Let's try to make this journey as unforgettable as possible. Let's try to understand our fellow travelers and seek the best in each of them. Sometimes, we must remember that at any moment one of our companions may falter and may need our kindness.

We too may falter, and there will often be someone to understand us. The great mystery of this journey is that we do not know when we will get off the train forever, nor do we know when our fellow travelers will do the same, much less the one sitting right next to us.

I believe I will be sad to leave the train, I am convinced of that. The separation from all the friends I have met during this wonderful journey will be painful, leaving my loved ones alone will be very sad. I am confident that one day I will arrive at the Central Station and I will see them all advancing with luggage they did not have when they boarded the train.

I know deep down that I will be happy to have contributed to increasing and enriching their luggage. My friends, let us do our best to live a beautiful adventure and try to leave an inspiring memory of ourselves when we disembark from the train. To all those who will board my carriage, I wish you a safe journey.

All moments, good and bad, constitute the experiences of our journey through this world. There will inevitably be ordinary days in which we cannot imagine that a tomorrow or a future will exist. There will be strange moments, unpleasant situations, and sometimes life will not unfold as we anticipated... on these ordinary days, the most important thing to do will always be to celebrate life.
